What are In-House Labs?

In-House Labs can turn on-premise compute resources into virtual training labs, allowing students to securely connect with just a browser while providing the instructor with the lab overview and control capabilities they need to deliver engaging training and keep track of progress in the lab.

Examples of in-house labs are:

  • Regular desktop computers.
  • Specialized hardware-including GPU-optimized systems.
  • Computers with license dongles.
  • ESXi or Hyper-V servers running virtual machines.
  • Computers with devices connected to USB or COM ports.
  • Computers that require networking to mainframes or other in-network data sources.

By keeping systems within your network, you maintain full control over configurations and data security.

With this approach, your organization can reduce costs, enhance security, and deliver high-quality, hands-on training using existing resources.

Who is In-House Labs for?

In-House Labs is built for organizations and institutions that want a cost-effective, secure, and efficient way to deliver hands-on IT training. By leveraging your existing internal resources—like classroom computers or servers—you can eliminate the need for costly cloud infrastructure while maintaining control over your training environment. This solution is particularly well-suited for:
